I’m not a ‘labels’ girl at all. In fact, I usually rip mine off, even if they’re noteworthy. But if I could be a brand, it would be Dolce & Gabbana. We’re inspired by the same things – Sicily, the Mediterrean and the role that ‘old world’ trends and objects can play today. Their SS11 Collection is an exquisite mix of crisp, white pieces softened by intricate ‘lace’ patterns. What is Macramé? Macramé is an ancient form of textile-making using knotting rather than weaving or knitting. The result? A delicate collection finished with ornate geometric patterns from an almost lost art. I’m now waiting impatiently for the flagship store to open in Central ,Hong Kong.
